Service Description

Tires are recycled through Tire Shredding & Recycling of Louisville. Tires are used to make mulch and/or used as fuel to power industries. Standard off the rim tires are $2.50. Tires are more expensive if they have a rim and are a semi, tractor, or agricultural type.


Cancellation Policy

The 96 gal. containers are available for curbside recycling service only in Jeffersonville, Clarksville, and Sellersburg. Residents must make an appointment online or call (812) 256-7942. Containers must be picked up in the office at 112 Industrial Way. If you have an SUV, van, etc. fold seats down or clear space for 96 gal. container prior to arrival. This is a first come, first serve opportunity to increase recycling in Clark County through free distribution of 1,000 qty., 96 gal. recycling containers. These containers are for recycling only.
